I've been working for MONTHS--almost a year--to grow out damaged blond hair. I ended up with darker roots, a lighter middle section, and the darker hair from the bottom half of my head showing on the bottom. All in all, I've always tried to be pretty natural with my hair color, and I'm pretty conservative, so it really didn't look terrible. That being said, I got tired of growing it out. AND, I'd always wondered how I'd look if my hair were as dark all over as it was on the bottom....
...and now I know. It's a semi-permanent, will fade away to my natural color, and I LOVE IT. (Oh. And I've got a GREAT hairstylist, who's really reasonable with her prices. She did an awesome job on the color. A great cut and color from her: approximately $50 (minus tip). A great hairstylist who works with the pictures you bring and does a great job: priceless.)
