1. True love really is evident in a kiss. The song lyrics are right: "If you wanna know if he loves you so, it's in his kiss..."

2. When choosing someone to marry, you should make sure that your combined initials reference a band. And get matching shirts. And make sure it's a rock band.
3. A, wonderful gal that she is, jumped on board and also had a lesson for me: wedding dresses are more fun for nieces if they can play with it like it's a parachute in gym class. Awesome. I'm just disappointed we don't have a shot of them sitting with this part of the train covering them like a tent.

4. Another lesson from A. Weddings are particularly great when you have a back up pair of shoes with you. In my case, I opted for patent red leather shoes (hot!) and comfortable but cute leather flip flops for in between shots and then the reception. I knew A and I were meant to be friends when I saw her shoes. She had someone bring flip flops her her as well. Again,...awesome.

5. If your dad can't leave the country he lives in because he's on a mission, you can always Skype him in for a brief presentation at the wedding dinner. OR, you can get a life-size cut out. We opted for both. (Hi, dad!)

6. Ever wonder what true joy looks like? It looks like this:

7. Have you ever seen a couple run out of their wedding to AC/DC's "Thunderstruck"? I have. It's pretty darn great. Also great: AC and DC, themselves. Really. Unfortunately, no video is available. Shucks. You'll just have to imagine it: 1. have everyone line up in two rows facing one another. 2. have the couple stretch out to opening notes of song. 3. have them run out the room between the rows giving everyone high fives as they pass. make sure bride is still in wedding dress and wearing flip flops. 4. have husband pick up wife and swing her around in a huge hug after they get out and no one (except me) sees.
Congratulations, ACDC. I love you and wish you the best.
