Temple Gardening

A few weeks ago our singles ward did a service project at the temple. Actually, this was just hours before I went sky diving. Notice that my shirt is very dirty...because I was WORKING. Our job? Pull out all of the beautiful flowers to make room for new ones. I have to admit: it's kind of fun pulling flowers out of the flower beds. (I probably shouldn't admit that to little children, though.)

This was an opportune time to take a picture of my neighbors and I. Laurel (left side) and Markay (right side) are FABULOUS girls. We used to take turns doing dinner together before life got really crazy. I hope life gets a little less crazy sometime soon so we can start doing dinners again. HINT! HINT!!! :)

McKenzie and I also really enjoyed getting to use pitchforks to do the work. Obviously we were very serious about our business....
