"The happiest people I know ... are those who, while in pursuit of worthy goals, discover and treasure the beauty and sweetness of the everyday moments. They are the ones who, thread by daily thread, weave a tapestry of gratitude and wonder throughout their lives. These are they who are truly happy." ~Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf

I pretty much think I can do anything...
I'm addicted to blogs about cake decorating and party hosting. This clearly inspired my attempt to make a fondant cake. I've seen plenty of great cakes and just started thinking that I thought I could do one. then I got thinking that that if I ever lose my job I should have a back up skill (aside from auditing) just in case. Next year I want to learn photography. This is a picture of my first fondant cake. I think that since I had no guidance whatsoever and it was a first attempt it turned out pretty well. (But I admit that I have quite a bit more respect for those who do these cakes. I learned a lot from this first experience...)
