"The happiest people I know ... are those who, while in pursuit of worthy goals, discover and treasure the beauty and sweetness of the everyday moments. They are the ones who, thread by daily thread, weave a tapestry of gratitude and wonder throughout their lives. These are they who are truly happy." ~Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Easter Temple Pageant
Every Easter season the Mesa Temple puts on a wonderful temple pageant telling the story of Christ and explaining the significance of His role in our lives. I love the pageant and always feel my testimony tremendously strengthened by attending. In particular, this year I loved seeing his entire life story and His works shown in a way that is respectful and moving in such a short period of time. Somehow it helped me wrap my mind (to a small extent) around the power of the Atonement and increased my feelings about the tremendous importance of who the Savior is. I came away with a better understanding of the Savior's roll in my life and want even more than before to follow in His footsteps and return home to Him. I know it's a bit late, but Happy Easter, everyone. I hope each of you found yourselves strengthened by the focus on the Savior and continue to do so by remembering it now.

I can't believe that you jumped out of an airplane! That looked amazing!! My stomach dropped watching the video! :)
Wow, I guess you have two laura friends. But I'm family, so I win:)
Is that Juliana Brey in one of those pictures at the pageant? Do you know her? I swear it's her with the long dark hair and glasses!
yup. that's miss Juliana. (However, I hate to have to tell you this but Laura is family, too. What that REALLY means is that cousins named "Laura" ROCK. Both are fabulous women!)
