NieNie Dialogues

I've been wanting to post a blog on this topic for weeks.  I was introduced to this story by a neighbor of mine, who was introduced to it by her sister, and then it was discussed again in stake conference buy our stake president because the husband's brother is in our stake and we heard some amazing things about this situation. (THAT was a run on sentence.) In case you haven't heard about the NieNie Dialogues, it is a blog that is written by a young mom who is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  This woman was a famous blogger who had about 1,000 hits a day on her blog.  In August, she and her husband were in a serious plane crash, wherein she was burned on about 85% of her body.  Her sisters decided to step in and do all of the things that she no longer could, including caring for her children and continuing the blog.  Once the blogging community found out, women began raising money for this online friend who had been so inspiring to them.  At the last count, her blog was receiving almost 50,000 hits a day.  The story of these sisters, who have done so much for her, can be found at AZcentral.com.  The story has been covered in the New York Times and featured on the Today Show.  The NYTimes article does a beautiful job of showing how this woman's blog showed motherhood as the greatest role a woman can play, and was a huge lift to others.  Her family, her own fight for her life, and the interest of strangers in reaching out to another who has uplifted them is a true inspiration.  Oh. As a side note, read this story with Kleenex close by.  And be prepared for some laughs as you read her blog! There's a reason she had 1,000 hits a day.
