"The happiest people I know ... are those who, while in pursuit of worthy goals, discover and treasure the beauty and sweetness of the everyday moments. They are the ones who, thread by daily thread, weave a tapestry of gratitude and wonder throughout their lives. These are they who are truly happy." ~Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf

hello, friends...
So, I've finally decided I'm going to blog. i've been considering this for a few weeks, ever since I hit a few days where I was suddenly introduced or came across several situations and stories demonstrating significant greatness and unselfishness demonstrated of others and/or general goodness in the world. Several experiences or stories were found on blogs, but some of them were experiences in my own life. These were the types of stories that made me think: "people (a.k.a. my mother/sister/dearest friends) should know about this." They were the types of stories that made me cry. And they were the types of stories that clearly illuminated the great humanity of others in this world and made me grateful to be part of this experience called life. And so, I've created a blog with the purpose of documenting the great good I see in the world and my world. I'm not anticipating amazing blog entries every day, but I want to recognize the good and the blessings see around me. Even if it's just an incredibly delicious morning muffin.
