"The happiest people I know ... are those who, while in pursuit of worthy goals, discover and treasure the beauty and sweetness of the everyday moments. They are the ones who, thread by daily thread, weave a tapestry of gratitude and wonder throughout their lives. These are they who are truly happy." ~Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Boston in Summer
September afforded me the opportunity to travel to Boston on the way to a trip with Jonathan to Puerto Rico (post to come). The trip coincided nicely with my reading of 1776, and we were able to tour Washington's residence from his stay in Boston. We also got to enjoy a little Boston in the evening, the freedom trail, visit Old Ironsides, and the apartment mom and dad lived in early on in their marriage.

Awesome pictures Emily! It's great to see you in Boston too! I also think it's funny that you and Jonathan are in a picture with some of my friends from when I lived there. What a small world! Can't wait to see the next post!
